Class-A third baseman adds to record hitting streak (AP)
Mitch Hilligoss of the Charleston RiverDogs led off the bottom of the first with a home run Thursday to extend his hitting streak to 37 games, the longest hitting streak in the minors in nearly 20 years. Hilligoss’ shot to center field also extended his South Atlantic League record, which he set Wednesday.
