Detroit Tigers slugger Gary Sheffield calls his former agent a “bad person” and says Scott Boras is trying to get money he doesn’t deserve. The dispute stems from the $39 million, three-year contract the All-Star signed in 2003 with the New York Yankees. Sheffield declined to comment on the specifics of the grievance Thursday.
