Jason Giambi was in a joking mood, saying he might quit baseball right after he finishes an intense running drill set up by new Yankees manager Joe Girardi. When asked why he would wait until afterward, Giambi quipped, “I’m a glutton for punishment.” After an injury-marred 2007, Giambi is in excellent shape and a jovial mood.
